Tired of the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, half the Drive Around the World team made their way to the island of Ko Samet. Leaving from Bangkok, they had to take a train, a bus, and a boat before arriving at their final destination 5 hours away. The island seemed to appeal to them as they all came back with a bit of sun and smiles on their faces. The following pictures are Colin's ode to this tropical paradise! Ko Samet is located just south of the
mainland of Thailand. Here, there are several groups of beautiful
tropical islands, including the ten islands of the Samet Marine National Park.
The main island of the group, Ko Samet, is a perfect destination for people
who are
seeking crystal clear waters and peaceful, unspoiled beaches. |
